My Dad. Ten years gone.

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling -
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side -
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying -
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide. -
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow -
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow -
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow -
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

That's a great photo of your father. I have never seen that one before. It is hard to believe that it is ten years since his death. Nice touch with a tribute in the form of "Danny Boy". I heard a haunting rendition of that tune done a bugle a few days ago and it is an absolute classic.

Hi Len not hard to see where you got your good looks. It made me a little weepy especially with Rannie not doing well--it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm getting old.
I love ckecking your sight.

Hey Sadie. Thanks to you and Glen for the nice comments. I think we are all getting older... but none of us will ever be old. Cheers, Len
