We got snowed!

Well the trip south was okay... but wow, did we ever get dumped on with snow. I spent the weekend in Sudbury with Jen and the boys. Scott was out ice fishing on Manitoulin Island.
Sunday morning Jen was up bright and early to shovel off the front step! What's with that? All her teenage years she HATED shovelling. And now that she's a grown up, there she was wearing a snowmobile jacket and pyjamas shovelling snow! She even had to force her way out because so much snow was piled up against the storm door. So I took a picture. She is gonna grumble for sure. The drive north back to Timmins was interesting. The trip is normally a 3 1/2 hour drive. On Sunday it took nearly six hours. Northern highways are deceiving. Those big fluffy piles of snow on the road sides look harmless, but the snow is hiding the massive and unforgiving granite rockcuts. You sure don't want to slide off the road into that. I took a pictue through the windshield while crawling along at about 50 KM/hour.
