Christmas 2021 in Val Caron
I was pleased to spend another Christmas with Jennifer and her family in 2021. Things have changed a bit because of COVID-19 and that included the fact that I did not enjoy the usual tradition of having lunch and Christmas shopping with Tyler and Nathan on Christmas Eve. That is something we have enjoyed for more than 10 years, but I decided that we wouldn’t do that this year, because the case counts of the virus are just out of control in Ontario. Hopefully we can it again next year.
The weather was too mild and we actually had rain on Christmas Eve and freezing rain on Christmas morning. But it was still Christmas because of the family.
The best part was just sitting around talking, laughing and enjoying each other’s company – something we haven’t been doing in recent months. Of course, Baby Ace was the centre of attention as he took in his first ever Christmas with all the family, the celebrating and the fun.
Not everyone was able to be at the house this year, but they were in all in our thoughts and they know that we were thinking about them and wishing them the best. Enjoy the photos.
