Something special

 He we are in the midst of the worst thing of the 2st century, this awful pandemic where thousands of people around the world are dying, and our little family group here in Northern Ontario is given the gift of life.  I can’t help but be glad for Dara and Nate. Yes it was a surprise but I think it has lifted us up to realize that suddenly we have something so special that has raised our spirits and given us a sense of caring that maybe we didn’t realize. 

I was so pleased this week to hold this tiny little person in my arms to feel him breathing, to feel his heart beating, to feel him squirm and hear his little voice demanding more food and attention. This is something to cherish and be thankful for.
