You know you're back in Northern Ontario when they stop traffic on the main highway so the mining trucks can cross. This is one of the ore haulers from Pamour's updated open pit project, near Three Nations Lake. With the price of gold at more $550 an ounce, it's one of those things you get used to. This brute hauls about 135 tonnes. It's all part of the Porcupine Joint Venture project where they're moving the lake to get at more gold. That's gonna be interesting to watch...
