I have read recently how restaurant owners are having a hard time getting staff to come back to work, now that pandemic precautions are easing up. A lot of people in the media are saying that restaurants do not pay their staff enough and if they did improve the pay, it would mean higher menu prices.
I am okay with that. For me, going to a restaurant is one of the things I enjoy and I honestly don't mind paying a few extra bucks for the service and the atmosphere. Maybe restaurants could experiment with a few ideas to maintain revenue. If you are going to dine in, expect to pay a higher price. If you are getting the same food for take out, maybe have a slightly lower price.
